GOLDIE LOVES CHINESE ($75)
Goldie is an original design, one-of-a-kind buttonface doll. She is 12" tall and approximately 8" wide. Her body is off-white crushed taffeta stamped with a quilted pattern, self-lined with muslin for durability. Her faceplate is an appliqued round of heavy metallic gold spandex. Her elegant evening coat is gold Chinese brocade, fully lined in off-white novelty evening lace, and tied at the neck with sheer gold ribbon. Her cuffs and hem are hand-knitted off-white fun fur. Her feet and shoes are Chinese brocade and gold spandex, with a gold globe button on each toe. Her little bird face is goldtone polymer clay built onto a heavy 2" square off-white Dill button, and her eyes are black glass beads. Goldie is firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill and is flat-bottomed so she can stand by herself. Goldie loves everything Chinese, but you'll have to find out for yourself what her favorite dishes are.
