DAISY ($75)
Daisy is an original design, one-of-a-kind buttonface doll. She is 12" tall and approximately 5" wide. Her body is two-toned aqua leopard print cotton, self-lined with muslin for durability. Her faceplate is an appliqued square of blue and white striped cotton, as are her feet. Her coat is blue cotton with white polka dots, fully lined in blue floral cotton, trimmed with two kinds of ribbon, tiny aqua buttons and bows, and tied at the neck with narrow blue-gingham ribbon. She has aqua butterfly buttons on each toe, and she holds a yellow button daisy in her hands. Her face is goldtone polymer clay built onto a heavy 2" square teal-colored Dill button, and her eyes are black glass beads. Daisy is firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill and is flat-bottomed so she can stand by herself. Daisy's an old-fashioned girl at heart, the original "blue bird of happiness," guaranteed to brighten up the gloomiest day. She's a sucker for picnics, kittens, finding shapes in the clouds, and singing old songs around the piano. If you have a pretty vase, she'll bring flowers.
