PRECIOUS JADE ($75)
Precious Jade is an original design, one-of-a-kind buttonface doll. She is 12" tall and approximately 5" wide. Her body is pale jade satin, self-lined with muslin for durability. Her faceplate is an appliqued round of blue brocade, as are her feet. Her elegant robe is royal blue Chinese brocade, fully lined in pale blue poly satin, and closed at the neck with a gold button and a bow of blue ribbon yarn. The coat is hemmed with pale blue eyelash fabric and hand knitted metallic ribbon trim. Her slippers are blue lurex, with a gold button and metallic ribbon trim on each toe. Her face is goldtone polymer clay built onto a heavy 2" square avocado jade Dill button, and her eyes are iridescent glass beads. She holds a precious multi-colored bead in her hands. Precious Jade's body is firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill and is flat-bottomed so she can stand by herself. Precious Jade loves the simplicity of fine things.
