ROSIE HAS QUITE A NEST EGG ($75)
Rosie is an original design, one-of-a-kind buttonface doll. She is 12" tall. Her body is ecru and blue rose print cotton, self-lined with muslin for durability. Her faceplate is an appliqued square of harvest gold heavy decorator cotton, as are her feet, with blue and goldtone flower buttons on each toe. Her sweater is blue nubby knit, closed with three pairs of blue wooden beads. Her apron is off-white cotton with blue, green, and tan stripes and edged with ecru lace and self-fringe. Her face is goldtone polymer clay built onto a heavy 2" round off-white Dill button, and her eyes are black glass beads. Rosie is firmly stuffed with polyester fiberfill and is flat-bottomed so she can stand by herself. Rosie's pleased at how her green and brown speckled nest egg has grown. She's a thrifty, practical homebody who loves the simple things in life. She'll make a nice omelette if you'll brew up a cup of tea.
